3G

Must admit, this 3G card (whatever that is) seems clever. It's nice to have the little flashing light too. (Not that I'm using the laptop, of course).

If only it would work at home; but I live in the one area of South-West London that gets no coverage.

Well that's another excuse.
Finally, a bank holiday. A time to rejoice in ones family, spending the day pootling around garden centres and Homebase. Perhaps the greatest joy is that I don't have to use my infernal work laptop. Sometimes it feels like a chain around my leg it really does. I mean, people actually expect me to work when I'm at home! What are the chances!

Anyway, while some are happy to play with computers on bank holidays I'm not one of them, so I'll sign off now.

Haute Cuisine

It's getting late. It must be time for a curry. My geeky colleagues aren't around so I should get some peace. I won't have to listen to their techno-babble and can concentrate on the food.

Introduction

Well, hello interested readers.

The purpose of this blog is to document for posterity the comments, thoughts, rants and general ramblings of a business analyst. Having talked about doing this for a number of weeks (and thus, missed out on the opportunity to document a number of great rants already) it was decided over dinner last night that it was about time this wonderful idea came to fruition.

So, having been shown how to use my laptop for the hundredth time this morning, I've now managed to create this blooming thing!

Lots of little stories to come, so sit back, relax, and hopefully some of the people I work with will learn a thing or two!
